Miss Ida Dawes and Mr. Charles Moffit were married Saturday afternoon at the Presbyterian parsonage. They will reside in Connersville." At first glance this would preclude a marriage to Charles C. Offutt, however based on the article in 1928 describing the divorce granted to Ida Offutt from Charlet Offutt, and the death article for Charles stating he had a son Charles Jr, along with the death certificate for Charles Offutt Jr. listing father as Charles Offutt and mother as Ida Lucille Dawes I've been convinced.
