Offutt appeared on the Twelfth Federal Census of June 1, 1900 at Jackson, Hinds County, MS, USA.9 Annie Offutt appeared in the Thirteenth Federal Census of April 23, 1910 at Jackson, Hinds County, MS, USA.10 As of April 23, 1910, Anna Wilson was also known as Annie Offutt.11 She died on April 18, 1934 at Fresno, Fresno County, CA, USA, at age 69.3,12 She at one time I had Alma Wilson as the wife of Manley Douglas Offutt. However recent research has led to the discovery that Manley D. Offutt never married. Further research indicated that the Henry C. Offutt - Former Business Man Is Stricken After Golf Tournament, Dies in Home - Henry C. Offutt, 53, of 718 Florodora Avenue, Fresno business man and operator of a local luggage shop for thirteen years, died last night in his home of a heart attack. He retired from business several years ago. Members of his family said Offutt spent yesterday afternoon at the Sunnyside Country Club where he made motion pictures of players in the California State Open golf tournament. Soon after his arrival home Offutt complained of a pain in his chest and retired. Despite the efforts of physicians, he died a few hours later. Born in Kentucky - Offutt was born in Kentucky and had lived in Fresno since 1919. He owned considerable business properties here, including four apartment houses. He was a member of the Fort Washington Golf Club and recently donated to that organization the former M. R. Madary home at 1115 Van Ness Avenue to be used as a clubhouse. The structure will be moved to the golf course and renovated at a cost of approximately $15,000. In addition to his widow, Mrs. Asalee Offutt, he leaves two brothers, Alfred D. Offutt of Jackson, Miss., and Thomas Offutt of San Diego, and a sister, Mrs. Barry O. Evans of Prescott, Ariz. Funeral rites are scheduled for Wednesday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of the Mission Undertaking Company, with Rev. Clifford S. Ramsdale officiating. Interment will follow in the Belmont Memorial Park."
