Offutt, 67, died suddenly Monday at the home of his nephew Bobby Mullanix, in Georgetown. A retired railroad engineer, he was a native of Scott County, son of the late James B. and Annie Lee Brumback Offutt, a veteran of World War II and a member of Long Lick Baptist Church. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lena Mullanix, Stamping Ground. Funeral services 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Burr Funeral Home in Chadron, Ohio. Burial in the Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Heights, Ohio."
