It is possible that Eva is not a daughter of Joseph and Jane (Offutt) Wimer but is instead a daughter of Melissa (Wimer) Powell and her husband George Powell (Based on obit of Melissa Powell where it states that she died at the home of her daughter Mrs Edward Bartley. Also the obituary of Mrs. Lucina Palmer states that she was survived by three sisters; Mrs. Malissa Powell, Miss Margaret Wimer and Mrs. Laura A. Black and preceeded in death by two sisters and a brother

Luara Ann Wimer Black's obit only mentions one surviving sister, Miss Margaret Wimer on September 16, 2015.6

He was united in marriage 43 years ago to Fannie Drake. Mr. Cooper was a member of the Leesburg Presbyterian church and of I. O. O. F. Lodge No. 1047 at Plaingrove. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Pearl McConnel, Volant; two grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Grim and Mrs. Christina Coryta, Volant. Rev. W. A. Lloyd of Leesburg will conduct services from the late home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4. Burial in the Plaingrove cemetery.

"WILLIAM OFFUTT, 70, O'Hara Township, formerly of Elderton, died Aug. 7, 1992, in St. Francis Hospital. The son of Robert and Esther Uber Offutt, he was born March 3, 1913, in Elderton. Mr. Offutt was a member of the Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church and the Blawnox O'Hara Lions Club, where he served as president in 1956-1957. He was also a member of the American Chemical Society, the Society of Automotive Engineers, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Pittsburgh Chemists Club and the Deer Lakes Pilots Club. Prior to his retirement, he had been a chemical engineer for the former Gulf Research in Harmar Township. He had also been a professional engineer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Surviving are his wife, Emma Offutt; two sons, William Jr., Beverly, N.J., and Robert, Glenshaw; two grandchildren; a sister, Jean Staples, Edgewood; and a brother, Ralph, Seven Hills, Ohio. Services were held in Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Scott officiating. Interment was in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Township. The Burket-Truby Funeral Home, Oakmont. was in charge of arrangements."
