STOCKDELL DIES IN HOSPITAL - Victim of Accident Succumbs after Fight of Seven Weeks-Funeral to Be Saturday [Special to The Herald] GEORGETOWN, Ky., March 5.-Quince A. Stockdell, 56 years old, died today at the John Graves Ford Memorial hospital. He was run over by Frank Penn, a negro boy from the White Sulphur neighborhood, about seven weeks ago as he was crossing the street near his house on South Broadway. The negro, who is out on bond, was said to have been driving without lights. His leg was broken in two places but his condition was not thought to be critical until about two weeks ago when complications set in. He was too weak from the loss of blood to submit to an operation. He is survived by his widow, who as Miss Julia Offutt; two brothers, Will Stockdell, of Skinnersburg, and Henry Stockdell, of Georgetown; two sisters, Mrs. J. C. Fluke and Miss Sallie Stockdell, and the following nieces and nephews, Ray Fluke, Frank Fluke, Onie T. Stockdell, Greenville Stockdell, Mrs. Richard Brockman, Mrs. Clay Brockman, Mrs. Jesse Wainscott and Miss Carmen Stockdell. Funeral services will be held at the grave in the Georgetown cemetery Saturday afternoon at 2: 30 o'clock with Dr. I. M. Boswell, pastor of the Christian church, officiating. Pallbearers will be Will McKeever, Finnie McKeever, Ed Penn, Newt Northcutt, M. F. Thacker and Hugh A. Moore. Mr. Stockdell has been engaged in business in Georgetown for many years."
