For the past several years he was associated with his son-in-law, J. B. (Bart) Walden in the operation of the Walden Welding Works. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Julia Offutt, a daughter, Mrs. J. B. Walden, Seminole; and a brother, M. A. Offutt, Buena Vista, Colo.”.

In the 1900 Census there is no Hattie, but there is an Emma with Marion Offutt and Emma J. Offutt on May 5, 2014.
