CAROLINE ARENSBERG. Mrs. Caroline Arensberg, 84, widow of Henry Arensberg, resident of Newark for 45 years, died Sunday at 7:45 a. m. in the home, 182 Boylston Avenue. Mrs. Arensberg had been in failing health since March and seriously ill five weeks. Before coming to Newark she had made Pittsburgh, Pa., her home. She was born in Wheeling, W. Va., the daughter of Jacob and Margaret (Cronworth) Eichldinger, both natives of Germany. Mrs. Arensberg is the last of her generation and was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran church until her last illness. Her husband preceded her in death 25 years ago and two sons, two brothers and two sisters are also deceased. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Sadie Well of Cincinnati, Mrs. Anna Williams and Mrs. E. G. Fey of Cleveland, Mrs. John Maurer of Newark; one son, H. C. Arensberg of Newark; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p. m. in the home. Rev, Walter M. Brandt will conduct the service and later in the evening the body will be taken to Pittsburgh. Pa., where services will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. Burial will be made in St. Peter's cemetery there.
