M., Mrs. MARY A. COZINE, in the 71st year of her age, after a painful illness, which she bore with Christian fortitude. Lonely the house and sad the hours Since our dear mother has gone; But, oh, a brighter home than ours In heaven is now her own. Oh mother, we must give you up, You whom we loved so well? How can we drain this bitter cup, And say a last long farewell? Oh God, help us this pain to bear In this cold world of strife, That we, like her, the crown may wear, In an immortal life. By Her Daughter - The funeral will take place from the home of her son in law, John F. C. Offutt , No. 268 North Bond street, on to-morrow (Tuesday) afternoon, 28th inst., at three o'clock. Offutt buried in a cemetery where he was not. Instead of deleting the memorial the memorial manager has instead now changed it to the proper cemetery but is now causing there to be two memorials for the same person, and this memorial isn't the oldest and should be removed. I contacted the memorial manager to correctly delete the memorial and request links to the siblings and such be done but so far nothing has happened.

However a phone call to their office after a request for a photo was returned stating that he wasn't buried there confirmed that the cemetery has no record of his burial in either internment cards or plot records. I contacted the memorial manager after finding a different memorial for Henry S. Offutt in a different cemetery, along with locating an obituary for Henry S. Offutt that confirmed the other memorial information, asking them to delete the incorrect one. However they have chosen to instead update their memorial, which while it does have links to relatives not found on the other is one that was created well after the other which includes a grave marker photo.

"Former Knoxvillian Found Dead on Hawaii Mountain - A former Knoxville man, Frederick Neal Offutt, was found dead last week on a mountain in Hawaii, his parents have been informed. Mrs. Henry S. Offutt, 1433 Harvey St., said authorities in Hawaii informed her and her husband Friday that their only son's body was found on the mountain last Wednesday. From the condition of the body, he was judged to have been dead about 10 days, the mother said. The son, 36, was living in San Francisco, going to school part time while working. He was interested in computers, the mother said. She said she had received a letter from him about three weeks earlier and he had not mentioned going to Hawaii. He was a 1958 graduate of Fulton High School, where he was a member of the Pen and Scroll Honor Society, and he attended UT. A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Rose's. There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Friday at Bookwalter Cemetery."
