Miss Rheda Wadlington was maid-of-honor and Miss Mary Wadlington was the bridesmaid. Mendelssohn's wedding march was played by Miss Nannie Brown. The bride wore a gown of white satin crepe, trimmed in Duchess lace and pearl passementerie, and carried a shower bouquet of Brides rose and lillies of the valley. Mr. Offutt was attired in the conventional black. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Offutt left for an extended Eastern bridal trip. They will spend most of the summer in Virginia on the coast. Mr. Offutt was formerly connected with the business department of the Courier Journal, but is now engaged in the insurance business. He is a sterling young business man with a wide acquaintance throughout the State.
