A resident of Newark 50 years, Mrs. Maurer was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Eastern Division Women's circle. Born Feb. 5. 1879, in Uniontown Pa., she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Arensberg, and the last of her immediate family. Her husband John F. Maurer preceded her in death Feb. 8, 1953. Nieces and nephews survive. The funeral will take place at 8 :30 p. m. Sunday in her home with the Rev. C. M. Danford officiating and burial will be made Monday in South Side Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Pa. The body will be, returned to the home Saturday afternoon from the Gutliph & Henderson Funeral Home, and the funeral cortege will leave for Pittsburgh early Monday morning."
