Her husband, J. M. Offutt preceded her in death. Mrs. Offutt was a member of Romney Methodist Church. Surviving, besides Mrs. Wolford, are three other daughters, Miss Edna Offutt, Washington, Miss Nellie Offutt, Princeton, N. J., and Mrs. Beulah Lawson, Jacksonville, Florida; two sons, Dr. Vernon Offutt, Kinston, N. C., and Hobart Offutt, Winchester, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The body was brought to Combs Funeral Home where services were held Saturday afternoon by Rev. S. O. Parsons, pastor of the Romney Methodist Church . Interment was in Salem Cemetery." Obituary supports that the birth was in 1869 based on an age at death of 86. However the obit states that she was born in Hampshire County. Unless the location was absorbed into Hampshire County when WV was formed this doesn't match the information already obtained.

Offutt, by her will of March 4, 1888 leaves to her daughter Nannie R. Starr, all her estate, the other two children having a competency from their father's estate. I would assume the "other two children" are John T. and Juliet Offutt (9841_MrsJuliaAOffutt_Estate_The_Courier_Journal_Tue_Feb_5_1889_Pg6.jpg) The possible Jenkins connection would make sense as 3 of the people in attendance at the Offutt/Starr wedding were Jenkins.
