Mr. Frazier was born April 14, 1869, at Orrick, Mo., and came to Wrights, Greene county, in 1896, where he married Miss Lucy Smith, daughter of Campbell Smith, an old family of that locality. The family came to White Hall in 1923, and here Mr. Frazier continued as a carpenter and painter and paper hanger.... Of the nine children born to this couple, seven survive as follows: Boyd Frazier, Wood River; Zora, wife of Lewis Short, Springfield; Mildred, wife of Manning Kesinger, Kansas City; Irma, wife of Glenn Rafferty, Springfield; Royal and William, at home." Keep in mind that the birth date of Boyd would indicate that he isn't a son of Lucy Smith, as Lucy and A. M. weren't married till 1896. Additionally though the obit has that he was born in 1869, his Illinois Death record and grave marker indicate that the year was 1870, and the death record additionally has that he was born in Albany! So the date of birth and place of birth have been removed.
