He Suggested that Andrew is the son of William Offutt 3rd and his wife (unknown). However Nelle chose to trace the children of this marriage through their mother because of the uncertainty. I have William Offutt 3rd as #840. According to Andrew Jefferson Shoemaker; Andrew was a founding member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church, near Taylorsville, KY. He was a taxpayer of Scott Cty till 1817. on October 2, 2000.8

He moved with his mother to St. Clair county at the age of 4 years, his mother died when he was 8 years old. He was married to Leuvicey E. Feaster in 1872. To this union was born 3 sons, W. A. of Kansas City, Z. B. of Lebanon, J. F. of Lockwood, Mo., and one daughter who died in infancy. His companion died in 1920. He was converted in 1876, and united with a Baptist church and a faithful member of that church until death. He was an energetic a good neighbor and always stood for the right and respected by all who knew him. Funeral and interment was at Pleasant Grove on the 10th, by the side of his wife."
