She worked as a secretary and billing clerk for National Mine Service and retired with more than 25 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and quilting, was an avid UK fan, an AARP member and a Kentucky Colonel. She is survived by two sons, Robert E. "Bobby" (Debbie) Offutt of Madisonville and Ray Michael (Donna) Offutt of Carmi, Illinois; one sister, Drucella S. Burrow of Evansville; four grandchildren, Andrea (Nick) Holeman, Travis Offutt, Ashley (Jason) Burris and Brandon Offutt; and one great-grandchild, Braelyn Thomas. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Brother Roy Ellis and the Rev. Glen Hobgood officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the AARP. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home."

Slaton, both of Madisonville and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville, with the Rev. Tondra Daugherty and the Rev. Amos Kirkwood officiating. Burial will be in Browder Cemetery in Hopkins County.
