She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, the Lexington Jr. League and Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Survivors include three daughters, Jane Halley Ireland, Mary Offutt Halley, Katharine Helm Halley; a son, Samuel Hampton Halley III; a sister, Elizabeth Offutt James, all of Lexington; 6 grandchildren, John W. Ireland Ill, Jane Ford Ireland, Sarah Scott Ireland, Samuel Hampton Halley IV, Benjamin Helm Halley, Elizabeth Simpson Halley and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 11:30 a.m. today at the W.R. Milward Mortuary-Broadway by Rev. Ronald Byars. Burial Lexington Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Dr. William N. Offutt IV, Philip G.
