    Eugene R. Offutt, 70, who lived with a daughter, Mrs. Alfred J. Boothroyd, 1224 South Eighteenth street, died Monday morning at 12:55 o'clock at St. Elizabeth hospital from injuries received Friday when he was gored by a bull on the farm of Ernest Traumer, near Elston, where he was employed. His injuries were a crushed chest, broken ribs and internal injuries. Offutt had gone to the barn to feed stock when the bull attacked him. Born in Richmond, Mo., he came here ten years ago from Holt, Mo. He was a member of the M. E church at Holt. Besides the daughter here, he leaves another daughter, Mrs. Phillip Johnson, Chicago; two brothers, Emmett Offutt, and Henry Offutt, Houstonia, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. E. L. Barkley, Marland, Okla.
