     Harry Charles Odendahl Was a homestead farmer, later a mechanical superintendant. He became a Canadian citizen in order to obtain the homestead he and Jean had. He built their house which still stands, as well as part of the house he and his brother Walter built for their parents. In the U.S. he worked over 26 yrs. for the Chino Mines Div. of Kennecott Copper Corp. He was ahead of his times in many of his preventative maint. procedures that he instituted. He was born on September 16, 1889 at Shawnee, Perry County, OH, USA. He married Jean Robinson on June 27, 1921 at Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Harry Charles Odendahl died on July 12, 1978 at La Mesa, San Diego County, CA, USA, at age 88; Remains were cremated and spread at sea.
