Unknown Hausmann married Chris Hausmann. Unknown Hausmann Death is approximate. She is said to have died prior to her son's leaving for America. Since he arrived in March of 1881. It is assumed she must have died the year before. She died circa 1880 at Germany.1

Cora O. Baker Cora had three girls. All three became Dominican nuns. Information from Holy Rood Cemetery says "See Sister Mary Margaret" and there is a notation of $8.00. Also in site 2 is a Andre Trone who was buried May 21, 1904. "1514 Webster Ave., N.Y.City" and again $8.00. Doesn't appear to be related. Tombstone reads: "Mother Cora O. Kain Died 5/12/1901 Age 32 years Rest In Peace." Her year of birth is approximate. She was born in 1869.1 She was buried on May 12, 1901 at Holy Rood Cemetery, Washington, DC, USA

His father thought the 3 girls would eventually have husbands so they received real estate in town. There was a 1st wife of Valentine and since there were two children, they also received land. There remained a piece of land in Mt. Rainier, MD which all the 2nd children received equal shares of.

Jeremiah Desmond was born at Ireland.1 He was Railroad Engineer. He married Annie Dempsey.2 Jeremiah Desmond married Mary Ann O'Leary.2 Jeremiah Desmond died circa 1892.2 He Probably born in Ireland and came to Harper's Ferry as a baby. Studied for the priesthood but married. Died when Mamie was 18 months. He was saving a runaway train. He saved the train and passengers but lost his life. Also taught school on March 4, 2001.
