     George Washington Thomas John H. Thomas remembered (3/12/95) that "Uncle George" was a carpenter. He helped built the house on the Patuxant River. He also remembered that he was a drank and one day walked into the path of an automobile, was hit and killed. John once asked Uncle George how he could carry so many shingles at a time. He told him you pick them up fast, run with them, and put them down. That way you don't feel how heavy they are. Death is proximate per John. He was Carpenter. He was born on January 25, 1878 at Washington, DC, USA. He died on October 16, 1882 at Washington, DC, USA, at age 4. He was buried at Glenwood Cemetery, Washington, DC, USA.1
