     Nimrod Hicks #Nimrod's parents were born in Ireland. Per 1900 census, he was born in #June 1820 not August per family bible. He could read, write, and owned his #own home. They had 11 children but only 7 were alive in 1900. He was 80, #and Dicy Jane Van was 78. They had been married 60 years. In the 1860 #census he's a farmer with a personal estate worth $400.00. He's 39 in that #census and there were 2 people living with them: James (32 years - farm #laborer) & Sarah Vaughan (85 years - born N. Carolina.) Address: #341 ? He was farmer. He was born on August 11, 1820 at KY, USA.1 He married Dicy Jane Van on January 20, 1840. Nimrod Hicks died on March 11, 1904 at age 83.

     Martin O. Hicks was Day Laborer. He Made whiskey at a still in the mountains of Pulaski County, Eubanks, KY. Didn't drink much, just sold it. In the 1900 census of Pulaski County, He lives ownes his house, has been married 11 years, and has 2 children. The census says he was born Sept. 1970 which disagrees with the 9/22/1968 date from the family bible. He was born on September 22, 1868 at KY, USA. He died on November 20, 1948 at age 80.
