Mrs. Cora J. Offutt, widow of Noah E. Offutt, died today at the age of 82 at her home in Cockeysville. She had been in failing health for the past several years. The former Miss Cora Johnson, of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Offutt was married in October, 1925.
It was the second marriage for her husband, a prominent Baltimore county lawyer, whose first wife, the former Miss Comfort M. W. Cockey, died in 1916. Survivors Listed Mrs. Offutt is survived by three sisters-the Misses Maud and Betty Johnson, of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Blanche Mormand, of Fort Worth, Texas - and the following step-children: Mrs. Warner Pearce, Edward Offutt, Mrs. J. Fred Offutt, Mrs. Dorothy Bannister, Miss Mildred Offutt and J. F. A. Offutt. Mrs. Offutt was a member of the Sherwood Protestant Episcopal Church in Cockeysville, where funeral services have been tentatively set for Wednesday."
