I, Nathan Offutt, to wife Mary, one negro girl called Judy exclusive of her thirds to her, likewise the tract of land whereon I now dwell called "Newton", containing 310 acres, "also 40 acres called "Barron Hill" during her widowhood."

To sons Thomas Burgess and George Washington Offutt, "my above lands, to be equally divided when my son, Thomas Burgess comes of age, by a skillful survey and the judgment of the skillful freeholders."

"All and each of my three daughters' legacies to be paid off at the day of marriage or at the age of twenty-one."

The rest of Goods and Chattles (sic) and all the residue of estate "after my Loving wife hath her thirds and my Just Debts being paid" to be equally divided .between two sons, Thomas Burgess and George Washington, and three daughters Cassandra, Molly and Debby.
