Hiram introduced Martha (Hart) to John Blankenship by taking her over to John
Blankenship's on a horse. John eventually married Martha. The following
information is from the 1900 census and saved here for later use.
John Blankenship - born Feb. 1874 (26 years), farmer, owned own farm
Martha Blankenship - born Jan 1874 (26 years)
Vilctor Blankenship - born May 1894 (7 years)
Florence Blankenship - born June 1895 (5 years)
Per Dicy Wycoff, these are distant cousins through Hiram Headlee. (Dicy Jane
Hicks called them "asshole kin" because they were so far down the kinship
lines.)
